First date

"First date"

There's nothing quite like a first date,
Its like a sidewalk of eggs in crates,
And u gotta walk on them but make sure they don't break,
And u gotta talk to her but make sure she don't shake, kuz next time u plan something with her she'll flake

Its like your laying the foundation,
Of either what it will become or never be,
Every move must be planned precisely,
And everything she asks must not be answered undecisively.

Kuz you don't know when she'll decide to,
Say to her self "I should of stayed home and ordered a pizza slice or two.
And you don't wanna be the one it happens to,
Girls are mean, they'll group up and have a meeting just to laugh at you.

But on the other hand if you share a mutual laugh or two,
She'll give the pass to you,
And allow you in her heart's shower to take a bath or two.

And you haven't been this nervous since you took your SAT's,
Or the last time a girl said "bobby there's a slight possibility,
You put in toooooo much energy,
And now I might be pregnant b."

Talkin to her is so much easier over the phone,
When your at home,
In your comfort zone,
And all your focus is on her and everything else is left alone.

And sometimes I think BJ's has tv's in there to throw salt at you,
Kuz its bad enough I'm nervous but I also gotta keep my eyes off the tv tubes,
And focused on the conversation that we proceed to do,
As we get to know each other slow n easy too.

And its not easy to,
Be around a girl your extremely feelin but u know u gotta take it slow easy too,
But in the back of your mind you wanna hop over the table and give her a kiss or two,
But u also don't wanna get slaped from here to timbucktu.

First dates aren't easy at all,
Kuz as soon as you drop her off,
And she says I'll give you a call,
You start to wonder if she'll even call at all.

So then you say I'll call you when I make it home,
This way you know you will speak to her at least once more,
And the drive home can prepare you
Till your bravery goes up much more.

Then all of a sudden you hear your ringtone,
Before you even make it home,
And its a message sayin "I SO enjoyed spending time with you"

DID U HEAR THAT??

She sent a message that said

I SO ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH YOU!!


And now your hearts racing and you wanna do a backflip or two,
And you feel like you can dance on water like flipper do.

Its almost like you won a race,
And received a gold medal,
And if your heart was a bike it'd be riding so fast that it broke both pedals.

And all of a sudden you hear the eye of the tiger theme music,
Your victorious so you decide to use it,
Your hearts running victory laps with a torch in hand,
Man, nothing gets u more nervous than a first date can.
